Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Estates Course
About
Some consider the Estates course (formerly known as Adobe golf course) at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club to be grand and stately, a prime example of golf course design in the pre-modern era, combining rare beauty with solid trickery. It makes for a round both relaxing and challenging played on lush 50-year-old fairways, with a spacious layout, reminding on of golf as it ought to be played: the glory days when graphite went into pencils and balls were only white.
The Adobe golf course at the Arizona Golf Club measures 6,430 yards from the white tees and comes in at par-71.
Due to the mild Arizona winters, the Adobe Golf Course at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is open year-round.

Not bad
Old school course that has 36 holes weaving around each other side by side almost always. Some mountain views. Cool old mansions in some fairways.
Bunkers not great with rocks. Overall I'd say good place if saving money or just getting some swings in, then it's fine.
Adobe
The course was in good shape and the staff was great. The layout was ok as it was basically a giant field where 18 holes were squished onto. The driving range was along the left side of hole one and we were almost hit a couple times. While on the tee for two, two of our carts were hit by range balls on the fly, it was super dangerous. What looked like a new clubhouse was under construction so there were fences and barriers all over the place. The food was pretty good, I had a breakfast burrito and a coffee. My experience was not worth the price, and I don’t mind paying if the experience is worth it. I left feeling pretty “meh” after the round even though my playing partners were great. If you’re looking for a better round for the same price I can think of five courses in Tucson that are much better for the same price. I probably won’t go back.
Not worth it!
Played Adobe and had 4-5 holes where range balls were everywhere. Felt exposed when teeing off on holes near driving range. Course was very compact with a lot of crossover onto other holes when balls didn’t go straight. Will not go back.
Average…but
Average parkland course, good condition but holes run close together so you’ll often have other players in your fairway. Note, rentals are substandard compared to other courses in the valley. Also major construction at site for new clubhouse.
Beautiful vies and housing
Really enjoyed the course and the company, playing with a father and his son from Tucson. That is what is great about golf you meet great people all over.
Arizona Gem
My wife and I really enjoyed the course. it was very fair. I played the white tees on the front and the Black tees on the back at the suggestion of the father - son I was playing with. I really enjoyed the course. I had to rent some clubs because flying from Maryland I did not want to lug theml.
They gave us Ping clubs to play with that featured the 425i club as the driver. I hit them better than I did m own clubs at home.
The housing around the course is spectacular. Many famous people own or owned housing there including Glen Campbell, Paul Harvey and the present owner of the Anaheim Angels. There is an Estates Drive that you can drive that shows you many of those elaborate estates.
A Fun Day
The course was in great condition. The weather was perfect. And I had a great day out there. No complaints whatsoever. I played from the white tees which made the course only moderately challenging, which is fine by me.
Perfect conditions on an easy course.
I booked this course as it was close to where I was staying and it had some favorable times while I was in the area for a separate event.
Layout is similar to a muni with holes weaving back and forth without the desert/unplayable areas or homes between the holes as seen in most modern desert courses. There is almost no way to get yourself in real trouble and my score (par) reflected the 115 slope and perfect conditions of the course including fairways and greens.
The facility was undergoing a complete renovation and I think it will be amazing when it is opened. Staff was great and attentive, even when I showed up the day before just to hit balls at the practice area.
Overall, the course itself is unremarkable except for the hotel-sized homes around the boundaries of the golf course and what looks like an incredible new clubhouse.
Very enjoyable
Wide open with very little trouble. Grass was in great shape
Convenient to Scottsdale and the Valley
Had a very good time. The course was not difficult but interesting with some challenge. Greens were bumpy and a little inconsistent. Sand was more fluffy than normal and needs more rakes. The course doesn’t take the driver out of your hands.
Clubhouse being rebuilt but so what.
Met some nice guys in the group I joined as a single.
It’s convenient to the Valley and Scottsdale.
Eat and drink at the Biltmore. You will love it.
