Augusta Ranch Golf Club provides an excellent and affordable practice location for golfers wanting to work on their short game and it is also an excellent place for beginning and intermediate players. Three sets of tee boxes on the golf course accommodate different abilities. This executive, desert-style course is easy to walk with a relatively flat landscape and well-kept fairways. Augusta Ranch Golf Club's mildly contoured greens are more difficult than they appear. Water hazards and sand bunkers come into play throughout the course. Augusta Ranch's signature hole is the par-4 10th hole, which is accented by a tranquil waterfall alongside the green.

Good times at Augusta Ranch

The staff and amenities are great. One of the pros was giving lessons to a group of kids.

The course is in good shape with the exception of a couple fairways full of water due to the recent rain. Luckily most people could hit right over them like a small lake hazard.
Usually cart path only slows play to a stand still on some courses but everyone kept up and no slow play.
A relaxing day of golf on a nice little course.

Great Short Course

Great short course to sharpen your short game. Mostly par 3's with some par 4's thrown in to pull out the Driver. It has 3 water holes and sand traps as well around the greens to challenge you. Don't let the greens fool you either with well placed pins. The staff treats you right and the Pub called the Scratch has great food. Round of golf played in 3 hours makes a great morning or afternoon with time for other activities. Give it a shot you'll have a great time. BTW Take in a game of Glow Ball Night golf they offer 2 times a month. Awesome time too!

Very pricey for the conditions

Office staff was great, fasts and accommodating. The marshal was a bit pushy and not customer oriented. May have been having a tough morning, but we were on target or ahead of the times posted in the cart. He once told us that we were supposed to be playing at a birdie round pace?? We were a little slow, but on time track, and let a threesome go through, and asked the team behind us if we were holding them up, they were fine.
Course condition was ok, a few very wet spots on each fairway, but the greens were great, and fast!
We had a fun round of golf, but would not play here again due to the price. For the wife and I to walk the course we paid 110.00.

My wife and I enjoy playing courses in the Mesa area. This course is one of our favorites because it is somewhat forgiving even though it presents challenges in terms of sand and distance. Most greens are tilted from front to back and guarded by sand both on the right and left. There are several sets of tee boxes to give golfers of different abilities a decent chance to score well and water only affects a few of the holes. We will play again probably soon.

Go Play!

Am slightly biased as several staff members are friends of mine, but do yourself a favor and check this place out. Always in good shape and any level of golfer can get tested here/enjoy themselves. Awesome alternative to more expensive golf around Phoenix. DO IT.

Awesome Executive Course

Just a great hidden gem of a course. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in great shape. But especially noteworthy were the great shape of the bunkers. The course has a few par 4s but mostly par 3s nothing too long. Hole ten and eighteen have water and be sure to stay well away from it. It is very nice to have a cart as there is some distance between holes as the course meanders through a housing development. There is a driving range, putting green, and short chipping area for practice. The proshop is small, well stocked, and the staff were very nice.

Get your irons in shape

This is a great course to get your irons in shape. It can be called an executive course but it has a few short par 4s thrown into the mix. It has its share of obstacles but nothing a even a high handicapper can't handle. It's a nice course to sharpen up after a layoff or just to find your range with your irons and wedges. Short hitters can use this course as a great place to train and have some fun adding up the scores afterwards instead of dreading the final tally.
