Southern Ridge Golf Club (formerly known as Bougainvillea Golf Club) boasts some of the most stunning views in the valley with the South and Estrella Mountains serving as a backdrop for the course. The golf course is an affordable option just outside of downtown Phoenix in a residential community in Laveen. This championship course has an interesting combination of six par 3s, par 4s and par 5s. The layout features undulating greens, water hazards, and more than 50 strategically placed sand bunkers strategically placed throughout, but it is still player friendly with generous fairways that are very forgiving. Southern Ridge Golf Club also boasts five sets of tees, offering something for players of all skill levels.

This course is in bad shape, Keep the ball in the fairway, otherwise, you lost your ball in the high weeds. This is the worst course that I have ever played in the Phoenix area (A real goat ranch). ... more»
