Olde London Nassau
Greens excellent
Fairways good
Rough far too dry and weathered
The course was in poor condition but okay
The course was fine. A lot better courses near area.
Had fun though and will probably play it again.
Nice Day of Pleasant Golf
Coarse is greening up nicely as we move into spring.
Tee box signs
Very limited signage on the tee boxes. The rental clubs were expensive or poor quality.
A Fairly Typical Course
This is a good course, on a slope with some interesting holes.
some attention to detail
the greens were very good. As for the condition of the rest of the course;the fairways are rough and sparse. The rough is all hardpan. The hazards and out of bounds are poorly marked as well as directions from greens to next tee box. Most of these problems are easy fixes.
Great course for the price
I enjoyed my round on a well maintained course. My golfnow rate made it even better. I will come back. I just hope they don't leave golfnow like many others around here are doing. Maybe golfnow needs to re-evaluate how they are doing things if they are chasing off customers. Say it aint so :)
enjoyed the golf
The greens were hard and fast. A little more water on the fareways would help.
Operations
The first tee can't be seen from the clubhouse or the course starter. The starter sends people to the tee without assuring they either start on the assigned time or paired according to the starters schedule. The players names, time, and pairing are not announced. Therefore, it's not efficient use of releasing players on to the course onto the first tee. As a result four twosomes were on the first tee with two open holes while they tried to figure out who was playing with who. So in the meantime, one of the residents apparently saw the opening headed out on his own cart starting on the second hole, playing two balls, eventually backing up the mismatched tee times, starting on the first hole. Both courses need a Marshall and a starter at the tee to assure a pleasant and efficient golf outing. It is obvious to this golfer the course isn't staffed to respond to peak times.
Fun, playable course
We played this course twice and it is a fun track. The greens are in great shape, althought the fairways and tee boxes show some "resort" wear. I would highly recommend this entire facility for affordable, quality golf and great service. The 19'th hole is a great spot as we'll with affordable food and beverage options.
Sad track
This is a short course from the whites, playing around 6000 yards. The fairways are in poor shape and there are lots of rocks in the bunkers. The greens were okay but a little on the slow side. Fairways are wide. Course winds between houses on every hole. There isn't much scenery. If you pay more than $40 to play, you are wasting your money. Go 30 miles south to a much better course--Emerald Canyon in Parker.
Good shape for a desert course in January
management has done a good job of maintaining the greens; fairways are drying but still fine. regular prices are expensive this year, but Golf Now still a deal.
Good value course
Enjoyed the round mostly because of the company. The back nine is more interesting with some interesting layouts, but the front is longer and harder.
This course
It's ok,... I feel it's overpriced and they cram too many players into the course at the same time. But it's fun .
very nice course, a great value using Golfnow's discount price!
This course has some nice open holes where even the Novice golfer can let it fly without much worry. Water comes into play on two holes. The course was in very nice condition and the people running it were very friendly. 36 holes here and You will have a great day of golf on either course. Two practice putting greens were both open and even a little chipping area was available. This course built in the 60's is one of the best layouts I have seen in my hundred courses played. Can't wait to play the other 18 next time I am in Lake Havasu city.
Horrible course to play
This course is severely mismanaged and maintained.
Most of the personnel are untrained and unfriendly. The management company is one of the worst in the business.
Worst greens I've ever played.
This is a course Run by Fore Golf. They have chosen to add a few cart paths over trying to repair the numerous dead and dry spots in the fairways. Both courses have horrible greens! Don't let them tell you it is the heat. Most all the courses on
" the River" are in far better shape. We played very quickly only because the management has run all the members off and the rack price for this time of year is outrageous.
Interesting course for newer golfer
Just started golfing 4 months ago and find this course very challenging at times. Long fairways give me a lot of practice and the sand and water features make it interesting. Hitting over the water is great practice and frustrating at the same time. Course employees are friendly and helpful.
its a fun course to play on
the staff are great the course has some diffacult spots on it makes it more of a challage
