Bridgewater Links Golf Course

It’s a fun course to play on for a quick 9 holes or double if for 18. I switched it up for the second 9holes from white to blue which cool. Majority of the blue tees are not only more distant but also lateral from the white tees which increasing the level of direction of your approach and increasing the level of difficulty. It was a great time.

Went out and walked this course while in Lake Havasu last weekend. Stopped by @ 2pm to play 9 holes and found the Pro Shop locked, the sign on the door stated they were only open from 6a - noon this time of year?

Since the gate was still open, even @ 111 degrees, I grabbed a couple of clubs and walked the course. The layout is surprisingly hilly considering it is literally right on Lake Havasu. A couple of very short par 4's and par 3's made for a representative Executive Par 30 layout @ a resort.

The entire course was Bermuda. The tees were shaggy, maintained high without alot of divot repair.

The fairways and rough were both maintained high with a few bare areas. It looked like they mowed maybe once a week.

The sand traps were very poorly maintained. Crusty with both a lack of quality sand and too many clumps of grass growing in them = poor.

The greens were shaggy. They putted SLOW, and I mean slow. More like fringes on many courses.

The layout was okay for a resort executive course. The conditions were well below average. Recommended only if you really need a golf fix.
