The golf course had a lot of grass on it. It was also long in places- maybe due to the rain? The holes themselves had long grass and didn't go in properly. Ihave seen itin better condition. For the golfnow price it was good but the golf price there was $20 and a bit high.
A Short Par 3 Hole Wedge Course
Good for brushing up on your wedges. 2 hours were expended to go around twice on this 9 hole course to get in 18. It was not busy when we played. No hole is very long and the greens are fairly small. The greens putted well but some of them break more than they look. Spend a few extra seconds walking the line if you want to score well. Tee boxes are a little humpy and chewed up. Biggest annoyance I had was that my range finder (Golf Buddy) was not in agreement with the way many of the holes are numbered. For example hole 2 shows on the range finder as hole number 8. Overall, at ten bucks for 18, it is a fair value and makes for worthwhile short game practice..
Tiny course but very tough
This is a very short nine hole course, the shortest hole around 50 yards. Several more are in the 70 yard range. Only two holes require more than a sand wedge. For $25 you get to walk it twice. The golf now app enabled us to pay $10. That deal is available once a day. The course is worth $10, not $25. There is a season membership in the $300 plus range, but there is no provision for a shorter length membership for us snow birds. Two of the greens are nearly impossible to play due to their horrendous degree of slope. It doesn’t help that the greenskeeper tends to put the pin in the most unplayable position possible.
Par 3 fun
We enjoyed our time at Toruga. It definitely is a short game tune up. Longest hole is 90 yards and the greens roll very nicely but many are unforgiving.
Great value for the price!
2 club Tortuga Par 3 18 hole (9 X 2)
A very short course! I took my bag to the first tee of the par 3 course to the starter. Not sure why they need a starter at the Par 3, but after some small talk and beginning to grab a pull cart, I decided to take the bag back to the car and carry 3 clubs with me (SW, PW, and putter) which was actually 1 club too many. The longest hole on the Par 3 is 85 yards. SW and putter is all I needed.
It had rained earlier in the morning so there was some standing water in areas along the course. A bit muddy and slippery off of some of the greens. The greens were in really good shape, some tree debris on them, but nothing terrible.
The Tortuga Par 3 18 is a 9 hole Par 3 you play twice. Pace was good and a several beginners hitting and allowed me to play through.
I was expecting a longer Par 3 course with holes ranging from 90-200+. This is a SHORT game course.
I had fun. Finished in about 1:10.
Stay away
Rude pro shop staff. 80 year old pro shop counter guy. This is guy needs to be retired to the couch of his home. Seriously, bad attitude and greeting of golfers as they come into a pro shop is a no brainer.
Muni track in bad shape.
REAT FOR OLDER OR HANDICAPED
played it for 15 years:great
Coarse was okay but very busy.
The course was very busy only got to 12 hole then water came on had to quit. Bunker sand very hard and stoney.

Great Practice
Tortuga is a great place to work on your short game... And mine needs even more than most. For such a small course, it provides a challenging work- out.: sloping greens and narrow approaches are not forgiving of inaccurate play.
My only complaint is the pull carts: they need a little more maintenance.
great little gem
Great little course nestled alongside its sister course, Haven. Nothing longer than 90 yards, so leave your driver at home and come prepared to work on your short game. Fairways were plush and green. Staff was very friendly. Couldn't beat the $6 greens fees, pull cart included.
Haven Review
Haven Golf Course is maintained well and very nice experience. Tortuga par 3 course was not what I had imagined however. as the longest hole was 95 yards. and shortest was 65ish yards which kind of disappointed a little. I did however enjoy the main course.
Fun course
The course is fun to play. The greens can be a challange because they are mounded and not flat. Good practice greens. Tee box area is a little hard, difficult to insert tee.
Great short course
Great 9-hole par three course. Excellent for working on the short game! Great deal too!
Tortuga par 3 course
Got a great price for golfing the small par 3 course Tortuga
which is part of the Haven Course in Green Valley. For the Golf Now price it was a great deal and wonderful for practicing your short game.
pleasant surprise,my wife and I found it very enjoyable
most enjoyable.Looking forward to our next visit.on scale of 1 to 10 , i wood give a solid 9.
Great short game practice facility.
Tortuga is a par 3, 9 hole w/ yardage from 65 to 90 yards and small greens. It offers excellent practice for wedge play, sand trap shots and putting. T box and fairway in good shape, greens and traps need some work. I enjoyed the par 3 as it let me practice the short area of my game, great practice fun!
