really good golf course
My wife and myself play there quite often and we really enjoy the laid back atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff and the golf course overall is really nice.
Good Course with some challenge.
Always a good course to play . Good shape for this time of year. Not a lot of trouble
Dec golf
Even though it is the middle of Dec the course was playable. The fairways are dormant but the green and tee boxes are in great shape. Not a difficult course but when the wind blows it can make a 2 club difference on some holes. The course has some interesting elevated holes that can make it a challenge.
Fun track for the money
I was in Huntsville on business and played this course a few times simply because it was such good value for money.
The course is relatively open so can't get into too much trouble, although the opening three holes have water in play. The course is protected by tricky greens and the wind, if it blows.
The tee and greens are very well maintained for a municipal course. The starter's were well organized, even on a busy Saturday and they kept the tee times moving well. I must say pace of play was good for a busy course. We only got held up a bit on the par 3's. Which is usual on any course on the weekend. Although the course is not particularly long, the par 5' are incredibly long from the back tee's, especially into the wind.
I will definitely play here again when I'm next in Huntsville.
Course was in decent shape
Had an excellent time out on the course. We played the weekend after a bad storm but the course was still in decent condition. Staff seemed very aggravated we were there but, we had a good time nonetheless.
