Nestled within the Appalachians, Oxmoor Valley offers three public courses: the Valley Course, the Short Course, and the Ridge Course. Oxmoor's Valley's scenic location provides plenty of dense forests and peaceful creeks. The Valley Course is a traditional links-style course situated on lovely, rolling terrain. It stretches over two miles of land located between the mountains. Several lakes are situated on the golf course, adding to the beautiful scenery of the course while creating water hazards that come into play on a few holes. The signature hole, the 18th, is notoriously nicknamed "The Assassin." The 441-yard, par-4 hole provides a dramatic finale to the course.
