The Ridge Course at Oxmoor Valley is one of three public courses the facility offers, the two other being the Valley Course and the Short Course. The course was carved from the mountainous terrain of the Appalachians creating dramatic elevation changes throughout. The undulating greens are large and quite hard to read due to their subtle breaks. The fairways are tree-lined with generous landing areas. The golf course requires shot accuracy since there are many uphill and downhill shots as well as blind tee shots over hills. The Ridge Course's signature hole is the 17th, which is a 176-yard par-3. Not only does it challenge you with the ninety-foot drop to the green, it also offers panoramic views.
