Editor's Note: Course closed for business in 2009.
The private, 18-hole course at Heatherwood Country Club is an enjoyable golf course that is suitable for all skill levels of golf. There are four sets of teeboxes to accommodate different abilities and players; they also allow golfers to work on different handicaps. The course has tree-lined fairways and there are also ponds situated throughout the course, creating water hazards that come into play on a few holes. The terrain is quite hilly, making it difficult to walk the course but it is permitted. Heatherwood Country Club also offers several convenient amenities such as a restaurant, pro shop, and an on-site golf pro.
