A Jack Nicklaus design that nearly kisses the ocean. Each hole was built with regard to the landscape, mainly outcroppings of lava flow. The Hualalai Volcano adds the background scenery for the first hole. Wind is often a factor.

Set on the slopes of the Hualalai mountain at an elevation of 2900 feet. It features narrow fairways and uneven lies. Watch out for the 15th with tees 79 feet higher than the green that is protected by a lake and bunkers. Semi-private.
