Emirates Golf Club's Majlis course, which was designed by Karl Litten, is laid out around tall desert dunes. The 7,300-yard par 72 was the first grass golf course to open in the Middle East in 1988. Also tabbed as the "Desert Miracle," the course features hundreds of indigenous plants and fauna as well as seven fresh and saltwater lakes.
