About
Alongside Nelspruit and White River, the Sabi River Sun course (formerly known as Sabie River Bungalows Golf Club) is one of only four 18 hole layouts in the exquisitely beautiful Mmpumalanga lowveld. Water is a big factor here and is present in the form of a hazard on all but 4 of the 18 holes. The Sabi River Sun, one of the country's important watercourses, comes into play, as well as a network of dams, big and small. This is game country and a couple of dozen hippos as well as a crocodile are permanent residents in the course's main dam, next to the 14th and 15th holes. Pilgrim's Rest and Graskop are close by and the Kruger Park National Park is about 40 km distant. This 18 hole Peter Matkovitch and Dale Hayes golf course is a dream course, rated among the top 10 courses in South Africa. It is only 5618m long but is both challenging and fun to play.
Location: The Sabi River Sun Golf Course is north of Hazyview, Kruger South, en route to Sabi.

Course rating
Your course rating is incorrect. It is a difficult golf course. Too many people walking around the course. Sometimes had to wait 4 minutes for walkers to pass before we could hiy a shot.
Your golf course does not justify the price we paid.
