Spectacularly Amazing
Highland Gate.
One of the most incredible golf courses i have played and keep going back to play. Scenery is amazing and in winter the golf course stands out between the harshness of winter.
Can get windy as it lies on the edge of the South African high veld descending into the low veld. The weather can be very unpredictable.
Dullstroom is the closest town and it is an awesome town full of arts & crafts. The area is very well Known for trout fishing.
I made my first eagle ever on the 18th hole at Highland Gate. It could be one of the most difficult holes for an amateur golfer to do this.
This golf course is one of my favorites to play in South Africa. I will recommend it as the views from some of the holes are breathtaking.
Do yourself a favor and make a weekend of it.
