Excellent

Nice course, decent condition for time of year.My own course had 18 winter greens, and frozen solid, this one was full greens ,soft underfoot, and only 9 quid a head.Defo value for money, will probably go down again in spring or summer to play again.

Decent Course

Decent course with a few challenging holes including a couple of blind holes, 80% of the greens were in good condition just a few with bare patches but all in all for £20 a decent challenging course

First Scottish Golf Experience

Very reasonable for a council course and I would definitely play again. For the money it represents good value for money no bells or whistles and I would definitely play again.

lost in Dalmilling

First time at Dalmilling, and can only go on what I experienced , we were a 4 ball and firstly the fairways looked as if the needed a cut the fairway widths to semi rough was really tight was wondering if this was to save money on maintenance as the semi rough looked as tho they needed a cut but I accept it rained the night before and the grass grows really quick , some of the greens looked as tho they needed a feed

but the course was OK but where we were really annoyed no numbers on tee offs poor signage from tee to tee and three times we had to ask other golfers who I assume played before how to get to tee offs and the worst was we got to the 13th and due to poor signage and directions when we played next hole it turned out it was 18th !!! as I said never seen a number on any of the tee offs , so we played 17th with the intention of playing 14th 15th 16th but when we went back no spaces as players already there so we played 18th again and headed home disgruntled , all of us agreed that we wouldn't play this course again and I haven't said that in a long time , numbers on tee off boxes is surely not that hard and cut fairway and semi on a regular basis anyway I don't like putting a poor review in but just our opinion , I play at palacerig this is also a municipal course but by far, better looked after

Dalmilling GC

Course is in reasonable condition. Some drainage issues around the middle part of the course but the greens are in decent shape and it’s relatively cheap to play. Will definitely play again

Play - find the next tee

Course really muddy so it was a hard slog. Didn’t use a gps so when it came to finding the next tee it was guess work. Really confusing layout. In fairness to the ground staff the course was reasonably good for the middle of winter.

Fairways not well maintained

Course has obviously taken a bit of a beating during the winter but alot of the fairways felt like you were playing out of the rough

Don’t bother

Very very poorly signposted, took ages to actually find it
When arrived it’s not very nice at all, very scruffy

The pro in the shop was on phone when I arrived, it was a very wet day so no one else playing, but he didn’t even bother to get off the phone but just gestures towards the scorecards

The course was waterlogged, greens ok, very poorly signed from greens to next tee

Overall not great - played 9 holes and called it a day - albeit mainly due to the rain!
