Wet

Enjoyed round I thought around greens a bit wet and muddy and too much sand on greens to judge putt course was just all right

Did the job. Nothing special.

Definitely better courses in the area but for 15 quid a round it was well worth it. Impressed that all greens were still in use during last week of Nov. Course needs a little TLC. Speed of play was horrendously slow but it was a Saturday at midday. Would play again for 15 quid. Isn't a £800 plus a year course though. Next division down from this. Did the job though.

Most enjoyable and great value

We booked a 12 o'clock tee off time and were well received at the pro shop, helped by a young assistant. The course was in good condition and the greens were very good in April after a poor winter. After our round we had a meal in the clubhouse which was excellent. I would recommend Cochrane Castle to all golfers as we had an excellent game and were made welcome by all at the club.

Nice course but

Even though we had a booked tee time quite a few folk queued in front of us. There is a ball Shute for members. Nice course, greens were in great condition. Annoying part was we faced another back log on the 13th with folk just starting their round there, same issue with folk just playing random holes down the back 9. Also quite a lot of kids walking around the course between 13th fairway and down to the 17th fairway, looks to be a short cut from a play park to housing estate.

Nice course but quite an annoying round due to folk jumping on different holes!
