Bishopshire Golf Club is located in one of Scotland's most beautiful towns, Kinnesswood. The club is a 10-hole heathland course and offers beautiful views of Loch Leven and the Fife.
The course can be challenging to any level in windy or rainy conditions. Locals have dubbed the course "Coronary Hill," and the 10 holes play slightly more than 2,200 yards and is a par-31.
Greens fees are just $7 on weekdays and slightly more on weekends. All-day passes are also available. The course is open for public play seven days a week.
It's located three miles east of Kinross on M90 at Junction 7. Motor carts aren't available and the hilly course can be tiring on legs. Pull carts are available, but there are no caddies.
The club is a perfect choice for beginning golfers and their teachers who need a day off from one of the longer, more challenging courses in the area.
