Situated in the East Neuk of Fife between Muirfield and St. Andrews lays Lundin Golf Club. Lundin was voted one of the Kingdom's best links courses by Golf Monthly magazine, and has been the host of British Open qualifying and is host to the East of Scotland Amateur Championship annually.
The original club was established in 1868, but was redone in 1909. Golfers can see every hole on the course from the course's highest point, the 14th tee, and can see out into the Firth of Forth. Across the Forth is North Berwick and Edinburgh and Muirfield is on the far shore next to Fife's extinct volcano, Berwick Law.
Lundin Golf Club is located 35 miles south of Edinburgh and 10 miles south of St. Andrews. It's nestled near the villages of Lundin Links and Lower Largo, which is home to little more than 2,000 residents.
The East Neuk of Fife has many solid courses and Lundin is one of the finest. Lundin Links also has a nine-hole golf course designed for ladies. The course is less difficult than the men's and is perfect for women and children before they head to the championship course.
