Falkland Golf Club is a nine-hole course set in lush, deep parkland and has spectacular scenery of the village of Falkland at the foothills of the East Lomond Hills. The course is relatively flat compared to its surrounding hills and has several burns that meander through the course.
The second hole is the signature hole and the only par 5 at Falkland. The par-3 eighth is the most difficult, with a two-tiered green and bunkers surrounding. The longest par 4 is just 341 yards.
The remainder of the par 4s play between 270 and 320 yards, making wedge play a large chunk of the game for strong players. The nine holes play 2,510 yards and to a par 34. The course plays slightly shorter at 2,309 from the forward tees and there is no par-5 hole and one less par 3.
Falkland is 9 miles from the M90 motorway and 19 miles west of the home of golf St. Andrews.
