Located 15 minutes from St. Andrews in the Kingdom of Fife is Colinsburgh Charleton Golf Club. The 18-hole course also has a 9-hole pitch-and-putt course, clubhouse with restaurant and bar.
The club is set in beautiful parkland and has spectacular views across the Firth of Forth. It's one of the most attractive courses in the area and has difficult greens to match. The course is a par-71 and plays 6,443 yards from the back tees.
The course starts out with three par 4s, all of differing length. The 265-yard second is driveable, along with the 264-yard seventh if you are daring. Not all par 4s are short, with the 443-yard sixth ranking as the longest par 4 at Charleton.
The back nine is more than 300 yards longer, anchored by the 557-yard 13th. The course closes with a 369-yard par 4.
The forward tees play 350 yards shorter than the championship tees. The course is accessible using A917 from the towns of Leven, Lundin Links and Upper Largo.
The club is full-service, with a driving range and dining room. Power carts and pull carts are also available to rent.
The club is situated within the Charleton Estate, which is the 300-year old ancestral home of the St. Clair family. Opened in 1994 by the former United States Of America President, George Bush Snr.
