Turriff Golf Club
About
With a history that spans more than a century, Turriff Golf Club has truly earned its position as a "Jewel in the Crown," one of the gems of northeast Scotland golf courses. An 18-hole woodland course that plays to a par of 70, Turriff Golf Club gives golfers the challenge they desire and the spectacular scenery they've come to expect for great Scottish golf courses.
Tree-lined fairways, expertly placed bunkers and water all add to the challenge at Turriff Golf Club, where golf course management is key to marking down a low score. Still, the course provides for plenty of opportunities for long hitters to bring out the big guns, especially on the par-5 No. 12 hole, which is the longest hole on the golf course. Playing to 6,118 yards and set on the River Deveron, Turriff is a perfect walking course for those that find carts an unneeded
accessory. For golfers who enjoy a little fishing on the side, opportunities to get out your fishing pole and try your luck at the river can be arranged at this club that was founded in 1896, and expanded to 18 holes in 1976.

Always a pleasure to play here
For the price offered this is a gem of a course. It was well presented and the greens immaculate.
Played this twice this year and great both times.
Wow
I hadn’t played Turriff for nearly ten years and what a pleasant surprise it was. The tees, fairways and greens were in excellent condition - far better than I remember them. All staff, from the lady in the pro-shop to the groundsmen were welcoming and friendly. The course was busy but the rate of play was good and there were no appreciable holdups. My two friends and I had a very enjoyable round and we will certainly be back soon.
Very good
All was good friendly locals on and off the coarse could not fault it be back again
Always good to play this course
Turriff is in great condition.
We like coming here as it’s great value for money and usually fairly quiet midweek.
Great course
Interesting lay out. Challenging and interesting holes. Great condition
Turriff Golf Course
A short and a little cramped front 9 but opens up on the back stretch.
On the front 9 - perhaps it could do with some "next tee" signage on the front 9 for first time players as there were spots were it wasn't obvious were to find the next tee.
Pleasant staff and facilities.
Friendly rematch
Back again with friends for a friendly rematch and everything was perfect, course was in excellent condition and weather was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and great knowledge. Definitely be back again!
Always a nice round
This is always a nice round of golf for us. The course was in great condition.
The course was quiet when we played and we finished in 3 hours.
The course is not overly long but can still be a test
Looking forward to our next visit.
Turriff away day
Cracking little course, very picturesque, some tricky wee holes and some decent longer challenges - really enjoyed the day at Turriff - cheers
Good course
Booked through the app and arrived 15 mins prior to tee off time. Signage was not clear to locate proshop however club secretary provided directions. Spoke to a very polite and friendly lady in the proshop who was most apologetic that there was intrusive green maintenance being carried out this day and advised they would not be at their best. Played my round regardless. Course was in very reasonable condition for the time of year and enjoyed the round. I would revisit when the greens recover to hopefully more fully enioy the course.
Good day out
The course was in good condition had a good bacon roll beforehand in the clubhouse. Everyone friendly , efficient service course was a bit damp it rained for a few holes but overall condition of the course was very good. Greens a little slow but a few dry days and they'll be excellent, would recommend a visit.
Excellent course
First time playing Turriff. Really enjoyed the variety. Some long holes and tricky par 3s. Will definitely play this course again.
Pleasant Round in the Country
Played 18 holes with my wife midweek. Course quiet but pace slowed by a couple of three balls ahead, beautiful day so just relaxed and enjoyed our game.
Course in good condition, greens true and medium paced. I do struggle with the design of a few of the holes, but would be more used to them if I played the course more often. Beautiful scenery along the river.
Good value for a casual round, but clubhouse was closed when we finished shortly after 2pm, hungry and thirsty!
