Description
Situated along the rugged Aberdeenshire coastline, Trump International Golf Links Scotland stretches across a landscape of sandy dunes. The layout was largely determined by the gently rolling hills and valleys of the terrain, which provide the perfect setting for traditional links golf. The course's design is laid out in a classic pattern of two 9-hole out-and-back loops. There is plenty of variety in store with a layout that stretches to more than 7,400 yards, alternating between spaciousness and seclusion. There are some holes that long hitters will definitely enjoy, but accuracy is also essential in order to maneuver past the strategically placed bunkers. Like any seaside links, wind is definitely a factor. The golf course finishes with a tough par 5 that hugs the coastline and features a whopping 18 bunkers.
