Situated along a two-mile crescent-shaped beach, Bahia Beach Resort & Golf Club resides amidst a native maritime forest filled with coconut palms and almond trees. The course is a unique visual experience, offering stunning ocean views from some holes while others look out over the El Yunque National Forest. When designing the golf course, Robert Trent Jones Jr. made sure to take advantage of the incredible natural terrain. He designed the course around a network of saltwater lagoons and then finished the layout along the Atlantic coast. Fifteen of the 18 holes are bordered by some form of water. Jones took further inspiration from the coastal surroundings by mimicking the undulating movement of the waves in the rolls and dips of the greens, fairways, bunkers, and mounds.
