Swamp!!
This course was a swamp so our shoes were ruined. I’ve never seen anything like it. The signs to drive the cart are poorly placed. The staff was rude when we accidentally drove in the wrong area.
Course bigger than expected.
Nice course for beginner/intermediate player. It was bigger than expected and would use a cart if I go there again.
hackers paradise
It's ok as a budget option, alternative to the range, but don't think of it as anything more than that.. oh and you might be stuck behind a 4-some that takes 16 shots - one at a time - to reach each green. be warned
Good for beginners
No a course I’d play with regular golfers. Played with my wife who’s just learning and it was well suited for a beginner. Not too long. Pretty straightforward.
Fairways very spotty w greens super slow. But fun for a very casual outing with beginners or kids.
Wet and wild
The course looks like it can be a great course for the price. Open fairways and little hazards, plus the views aren’t bad. Just don’t go after a rain storm. We played after getting about 3 inches of rain the night before and let’s just say the water retention is comparable to that of the Hoover Dam. There were more water hazards than I’ve ever seen, some sand traps had even converted to water hazards. I will definitely be back, I’ll just make sure to check the weather for the week leading up to my tee time.
Bizarre and Unfortunate
Paid the reservation fee on golf now, for a tee time at this place that was advertised. Drove half an hour to find out that they weren’t allowing anyone out to golf. Couldn’t find anyone to talk to at the pro shop, but there was a car there. I feel sad and cheated.
An open field with tee boxes and greens and not much else
Waste of money, slow greens with dead spots. UnEven tee boxes with markers that needed to be moved two weeks ago. No fairways to speak of everything is the length of short rough
A Gem for Golf Practice: The Perfect Pace, with Room for Improvement
I recently had the pleasure of visiting this 9-hole golf course that truly stands out as a great place for beginners and intermediate players to practice their game. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of larger courses, this hidden gem offers a unique experience that focuses on a fantastic pace of play and ample opportunities for skill development.
One of the standout features of this course is undoubtedly the pace of play. As a high-handicap golfer myself, I found this aspect to be truly refreshing. The layout allows for smooth and unhurried rounds, ensuring that players can take their time and focus on honing their skills without feeling rushed or pressured. It's a wonderful environment for those looking to build confidence or work on specific aspects of their game.
However, as with any course, there are areas for improvement, and in this case, it lies in the tee boxes. While the overall course maintenance is average, the tee boxes could benefit from some attention. Specifically, I noticed that the leveling of the tee boxes could be improved. On several occasions, my feet were positioned below the ball at address, which can be a minor inconvenience and affect the quality of one's swing. A more consistent and leveled surface would greatly enhance the overall experience and ensure a solid foundation for every tee shot.
Despite this minor flaw, I genuinely enjoyed my time at this golf course. The relaxed atmosphere, coupled with the perfect pace of play, makes it an ideal destination for beginners and intermediate players who are seeking a friendly and supportive environment to practice and refine their skills. Whether you're aiming to improve your accuracy, work on your short game, or simply enjoy a leisurely round of golf, this course provides an excellent setting to do so.
In summary, this golf course is a hidden treasure for those looking to practice and grow as golfers. Its greatest strength lies in the impeccable pace of play, allowing players to focus on their game without feeling rushed. Although some attention to leveling the tee boxes would be beneficial, it doesn't diminish the overall experience of this fantastic practice facility. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a welcoming and relaxed environment to develop their golfing skills.
