Northern Meadows Golf Club

I'd play Northern Meadows more than once or twice a year if it wasn't for the 3-hour drive from home. It is a favorite destination.

Northern Meadows is a plush oasis found in the rolling wheat fields of northwestern Saskatchewan. The par-72 design is punctuated with over 40 bunkers and around 11 water hazards. Yardage ranges from 4,668 to 6723 yards and is readily playable by both novices and experts. No matter what level golfer you are, the course is neither remarkably difficult nor inordinately easy. The generous fairways are impeccably maintained as are the challenging and well contoured greens. The course has many "signature" holes, but the par 5, 17th hole holds the most acclaim.

After your round of golf, enjoy refreshments in the restaurant or out on the deck which overlooks holes 7, 8 and 9. The course also has an on-site RV park and 8 smartly appointed cabins for rent.

Northern Meadows GC

Always look forward to playing a round at Northern Meadows. Overall spring conditions were fairly good with a few patchy spots around the greens and in the fairways. The golf has always been outstanding, offering numerous large, flat tee boxes on every hole. Fairways are generous and routed nicely through boreal forest, the rough is very manageable. The bunkering and water hazards are strategically placed. The greens are large, plenty of undulations and were rolling true and at a good pace.

Welcoming staff, very good restaurant, exceptional golfing, onsite cabin rentals and RV sites make Northern Meadows a go to destination.

Northern Meadows GC

Regularly ranked as one of the better courses in Saskatchewan, Northern Meadows is a wonderful golf destination. With creative use of the rolling countryside, it's scattering of mature pine and poplar trees, good bunkering, clever water hazards, groomed fairways and well tended bent grass greens offer golfers of all abilities a challenge. Fairways turn both right and left and the holes flow naturally throughout the course.

Always a treat to play a well presented course.

Gem on the prairies!

Northern Meadows is a absolute gem. I am a bit biased as we decided 4 years ago to build a property on the course but none the less - we still love the place.
The course can play tough but fair. Be prepared to roll some puts with some difficult reads. The layout does play easier for the long hitter - recommend long hitters and anyone below a 12 back up to the gold tees. It can play very long from the tips as the wind always blows in SK.
It is an excellent value and has on site RV park and cabins. Highly recommend organizing a family vacation in the Meadow Lake Provincial Park along with some golf, fishing and boating.

Northern Meadows GC

An exceptional course from start to finish. This hidden gem is always in great shape. The fairways are as generous in width as the greens are in size. The course is a little out of the way but once there you'll start planning your next visit. Hole 17 is considered their signature hole but there are no fewer than 16 others. Onsite RV park or several onsite cabins are available to rent.
