Awefull
Very poorly managed. Have had multiple 6 hour rounds due to t-time overlaps. Staff did not care. They were just concerned about making money. It is an assembly line atmosphere. Customer comes last. Food is terrible and way overpriced. And dont get me started on the course. I've played better holes on a construction site. You'd be better off using a simulator
By far best public course South of Columbus
This course is fun and new bunkers really take it to another level. Play em all and there is nothing even close.to this...also congrats to the staff...make you feel at home
Golden!
Wow! Staff here is top notch. They welcomed me at 4:20 pm on a Thursday. 18 holes + cart + 2 beers for under $50 yes please! The course conditions were ideal. I played as a single and finished easily at 6:55 with over an hour of daylight to spare. The layout of the course is both challenging and rewarding at the same time. Well maintained and very scenic track. Worth the drive. Carts have GPS and layout which is important as some holes have hidden creeks running through the fairways so watch out on hole 2! Greens are well kept and at normal putting speed not fast or slow. Beer is only $4.50 ! If I lived nearby I would be a regular. Don’t miss this course! 5 stars all around!
Majestic Springs Golf Course
Played Majestic Springs Golf Course on March 11,2024. The course was in excellent condition for early in the season. Pace of play was very good. Played in about 3 1/2 hours. Plan on playing more golf here. Thank you
Great course for the money
Weather was a little chilly but the course was in good condition for early march. Nice rural setting.
First time
Got paired with a nice Father/Son. Had a good round. If I knew the layout a bit better could have been a great round. Course was in good shape. Greens were aerated as well as some tee boxes but didn’t affect overall course play.
Stay Away
I've been playing this course for 20+ years. It's actually my favorite, but ownership has gotten incredibly greedy.
I booked a tee time for 3:32, and told the guy on the phone that I needed a tee time for 2, and not to pair us up with anyone else.
He neglected to tell me that they don't allow for that anymore, because "a golf course can't make money if they just let two people play instead of four."
Their excuse was that every course does this. That, my friends, is a lie. I know because I've played just the majority of courses in the general vicinity of this area, and none of them do that.
The General Manager of the course came in as I was telling the guy in the clubhouse, telling him that I was not told this on the phone, and that I had driven an hour to get there.
The GM basically told me I could leave if I didn't like it, and made no apologies for the miscommunication.
He actually told me that if my dad and I wanted to play just the two of us, I would have to pay for 4, and wait 2 hours for the next available tee time.
We had already paid, and it's doubtful he would have given us a refund.
If a golf course can't make money by doing what golf courses have been doing for over a hundred years, they're doing something wrong. This is what greed looks like.
We got paired up with two guys who were nice, but were using language that we didn't care for. On top of that, the pace of play because of this ridiculous rule was incredibly slow, so of course we didn't get to finish our round because it got too dark.
When you are paired up with people that you don't know, most people don't play the same. That's just how it is. Maybe they play music, maybe they talk while you're putting, maybe they drink too much.
This is the worst I have played in years, and my dad too.
My dad got to the course before I did, and paid for us both. He called me when I was just a few minutes away and told me that we had to play with 2 other guys. As we were getting in our cars to go home, my dad remarked about how arrogant the GM was. That was my experience too.
I have played probably about 10 times this season, and the majority of the rounds I've played have been at this course. But as long as this rule is in place, no more.
I would suggest the same to you if you don't want to be looked at as a number or dollar sign.
We have gotten used to bad customer service in this country, and we have accepted it and just allowed it to continue. But I'm done, and hopefully this will help you to make the decision to do the same.
Majestic Springs
Majestic has all the challenges you need. It can take the wind out of your sails at any given time.
Very challenging, love to play there.
Glad we discovered this course
So happy that we discovered this course. It's not far from our house but we'd never tried it till recently. We've been back 2 times since the first time. We've brought friends and they also had a great time.
You can see that they are working on the course and getting it looking better. Several newly refurbished sand traps, which look good. Resurfacing the cart paths in many places. This course gets a ton of traffic so it's a never ending challenge to keep it looking good.
But it's a really fun course and some of the holes are beautiful and challenging.
Majestic Springs ( love it )!
This course is very challenging for everyone .
Wish they had a lower rate for seniors! But still enjoy playing here at Majestic Springs.
Slow!
Incredibley slow play. Need Ranger to monitor play. Took over an hour longer. Sometimes 4 groups on same hole. Could not play this course on a regular basis if this is the standard.
Love this course it's the best..never had a bad experience..staffs awsome especially Thomas
