Great Deal on GolfNow
Played on a Sunday in less than 3.5 hours I am a 10 handicap and my GF is new to the game. Course especially the greens was in great shape. I was surprised with it being a public course. Reminds me of a poor mans Donald Ross course with the small greens. Looks easier than it is. But every hole demanded an accurate tee shot as well as an accurate approach if you wanted to make par. If you roll off the fairway a few feet your likely to have a tree in your way on your second shot. You also need be conservative on chip shots do you don't roll off. Very fun course though. Would like to play again. Also a nice practice range.
Dog Wood
1st time golfing at Dog Wood. Very Nice, All Good. No Complaints. Good Time. 1st year golfing, not many traps or much water. I Ilke GolfNow as well. Thanks Rob
Stress free round of golf
Wide open with small greens. Always enjoy playing here. People that operate the course are always inviting. I will come back.
Dogwood
It had been 20 years since I played the course. There has been many improvements. I especially like how well manicured they keep the tee box flowers. The staff inside are very friendly.
summer vacation
The course was in great shape. This place has really picked up its game in the last few years. The weather was unseasonably mild for July in mid-Missouri and the course wasn't crowded at all.
Very good
Course was in excellent condition, especially the greens!
Well keeped and neat GREAT
Had good time playing played with first time players at this course we all enjoy it .
Solid Lake Course
The course was a solid value Lake course. There was nothing special about any of the holes but they did not seem to repeat themselves. We were in a twosome and played in 3 hours! Breakfast at Mitch and Duffs is fantastic!
Great course for the average golfer.
Fairways and rough in Fair condition to a harsh winter but enjoyed the play. Will go back on my next visit in September. Is much easier than most courses In the area.
Good Course - Good Value
We like Dogwood because it has less hills than some of the other courses in the area.
'Spring Training' from Michigan
Played the course twice during 1 week stay in Osage Beach. Pro Shop staff very congenial, flexible and accommodating. Course enjoyable and fun to play even with dormancy at the this time of year.
Greens were in good condition and very playable for this time of year. Would return for 'good bang for the buck'.
Older course with some character.
The course has nice fairways and yardage markers that are easily visible in case you don't carry a rangefinder. The roughs were mowed nicely. Fairways could've been a little shorter, but understandable for this time of year. Good experience. Not too easy, not too hard. Would go back today if I could.
Nice course. Would play again.
Even though the weather was cool and windy, my play was the same.
central location
Staff was friendly and actually helpful as I did not play course for 10 years.
Friendly and very playable.
Virtually no bunkers or traps. One water hole on a par 3. A few challenging golf holes. The greens putted very fast with some exaggerated breaking at times.
ok course
Back tee boxes are very small. Greens were being worked on and made the short game very difficult. Fairways were in avg condition.
Good course!!
We enjoyed playing this course very much. It is well maintained and in great shape. We would play there again'
