Located in Northern Ireland, Portstewart Golf Club offers some of the best golf in the area with its three 18-hole courses. The Strand course is the only one of the three that is a championship layout, meaning it is also Portstewart's most challenging course. The classic links design snakes across a dune-covered peninsula flanked on one side by the River Bann and on the other by the Atlantic Ocean. The golf course is known for having one of the best opening holes in Ireland and some would even argue that it's a contender for the best opening hole in the world. Golfers can also enjoy Portstewart's extensive practice facilities including a driving range and practice bunker as well as putting and chipping greens.
