Worst course ive ever played
Been to multiple course around northern ireland and this has to be the worst maintained course ive been to, lost multiple balls on the fairway as the ball just sunk under the ground plus massive tractor tyre marks left on the fairways some of the other fairways the grass was aslong as the rough and some of the greens where flooded with water and holes,
Cracking 9 holes!
Really nice day out. Brilliant views of Belfast Lough, with Carrickfergus castle to the left and the Mournes to the right. The first hole is a bit of a leg burner but after that it’s not bad. A few testing dog-legs and a very short par 3. Very friendly family atmosphere and members very friendly. Nice round of golf.
Course should of been closed
Course should of been closed really poor condition, greens kept well but losing balls with nearly every shot on fairways,
An absolute gem of a course.. Greens in great condition…Really interesting holes..Different shots always required.. Loved it!
Friendly and relaxed
Visited during a visit to Northern Ireland and had a great day on the course. Conditions were great and the course had many tricky elements that caught me out and offered an unusual challenge.
Booked a buggy when I arrived (only two available) which made light work of the hilly terrain.
Met various members during the round and all were very friendly and chatty.
There is a little cafe where my party had a light lunch and coffee. Very tasty and good price.
Well worth a visit.
