Description
Nestled deep in the heart of a 1,000-acre forest of cork trees, Royal Golf Dar Es Salam's Red course is one of Robert Trent Jones' most unique creations. At roughly 7,400 yards from the back tees, the golf course is both lengthy and strenuous. The layout, designated as one of the most difficult in all of Europe, is not for the faint hearted. Shelf-like greens are well guarded by treacherous bunkers and water hazards come into play throughout. It is a very technical golf course that requires strategy in order to score well. For beginning and intermediate golfers, Royal Golf Dar Es Salam also offers the less intimidating but equally scenic Blue course.
