Paraiso del Mar Golf & Country Club boasts the first Arthur Hills-designed golf course in Mexico. The course is situated along the shores of La Paz just two hours from Cabo San Lucas but it will almost feel as though you've been transported to the British Isles with a landscape that is perfect for a traditional links course. Covered in pristine dunes and abundant with wildlife, the golf course is also Mexico's first Audubon Signature Sanctuary. The bunkering is definitely the course's most distinguishing feature. Like any links course there are deep pot bunkers but some are also nestled into the native vegetation that flanks both sides of most holes. Wind also comes into play, especially on what is considered the signature hole, the par-3 14th, which can be almost impossible on a blustery day.
