Stretching across the eastern coast of Baja California Sur, Bahia de los Suenos is situated only a few miles south of La Paz yet it is a delightfully secluded location. Rocky ridges and massive boulders shaped by the wind accent the desert landscape. Stunning views of the Sea of Cortez further add to the golf course's appeal. The layout is challenging but fair with forests of Cardon cacti and strategically placed bunkers balanced by wide fairways and player-friendly approaches to the greens. The elevated tee boxes also demand some tricky carries. The plentiful cacti thin out as you work your way uphill on the back nine, replacing the desert views with ocean views. The 11th hole plays from the highest point on the golf course and then tumbles back down to the beach for the final holes.
