Description
Founded in 1988. Located 4 km. south of Stresa on the Lake Maggiore, it is 80 km. from Milan or Turin, and 35 km from Milan Malpensa International Airport, just 2 km. out the A26 motorway (exit Carpugnino-Stresa). It is a scenic and varied 18 holes championship course, laid out on hilly parkland. The course is designed following the natural undulations of the terrain, backed by thickly wooded hills and featuring breathtaking views over the Lake Maggiore in most of the back nine. Accuracy more than distance is required and the greens are challenging and fast. Facilities include a modern clubhouse with a fine restaurant and comfortable locker-rooms and showers, pro-shop, electric golf-cars. Open seven days a week June to September. Closed only on Mondays and January.
