The Upper Course at Dun Laoghaire Golf Club is possibly the club's most exhilarating. The 3,209-meter course borrows some features from links courses -- wide, tempting fairways that are deceptively challenging. There is always a strategically placed bunker to penalize the golfer distracted by the magnificent views. The golf course is thick with bunkers, with some pinching landing areas, others ringing large greens. Water is absent on this course, but you won't have time to notice.
