Description
The Heritage Golf & Spa Resort sprawls across rolling countryside with the majestic Slieve Bloom Mountains providing a scenic backdrop, yet the resort sits just an hour outside of Dublin. It is situated in the village of Killenard, which embodies a unique rural charm. The golf course is home to thousands of mature trees, demanding some careful maneuvering and keen course management. A stream meanders through the verdant landscape, which is already dotted with five lakes. These natural hazards come into play on 10 holes. There are also nearly a hundred bunkers strategically placed throughout. The layout is a fair challenge that is still accessible for beginning and intermediate golfers.
