Description
Carton House Golf Club is home to two championship courses, the Montgomerie Course and the O'Meara Course. They both present completely different challenges. The O'Meara Course has a classic parkland layout that borders the River Rye, while the Montgomerie is an inland links course with dune-like mounding. O'Meara is the older of the two courses, but only by one year. Its idyllic landscape is steeped in natural beauty with mature trees blanketing the gently rolling hills and verdant pastures. The 14th through the 16th holes are a memorable stretch since they play along the banks of the river. Carton House Golf Club is conveniently situated just 14 miles from Dublin City center and only 30 minutes from Dublin Airport.
