Friendly staff & Members. Course has had some upgrades since I last played. Can shoot a good score if you use course management. Will be back.
Greens recently hollow tining
I'd played once b4 here back in march and really enjoyed the set-up. The course was in great shape for that time of year. Unfortunately when we played yesterday the green keeping staff had only very recently been hollow tining, always a let down when no knowledge of this. Also the fairways had not seen the mowers in a few days, maybe thats what u get for playing on a Monday!

Pace of play is an issue
The course is nice and well maintained however,
when we played yesterday we only got through 12 holes as the pace was so slow. At 1 hole, we were 1 of 3 groups waiting to tee-off. I don’t think I’d play again on the weekend as it killed our game completely.
Newbridge
Newbridge is a nice course in good. Condition for the time of year. The course was overbooked on the day. We started on the tenth. There was a long delay when we arrived at the first due to a mens and ladies mid week competion and also a society outing. This spoiled what was an otherwise enjoyable day

Despite the time of year the course and particularly the greens are in excellent condition.
Before you read the rest, we had drought conditions for a month before we played course and there were limitations on water use which is very very unusual in Ireland.
Decent layout, interesting holes but course had patches on greens and large weeds off the fairway. Well worth playing though. Greens were fast and smooth apart from the patches. Some clever challenges but not too punishing apart from trees.
Nice course, well kept greens and fairways
The course is very nice and the greens were amongst the best I've played on this year. Well worth the green fees.
Only negatives was the slow play in front of us and the tramline that runs adjacent to some holes.
But all in all, it was enjoyable.
Fabulous
Fantastic course and great value for money. The course has a lot of challenging holes but also possesses ones which gives the player good opportunities to better their score. Greens are fabulous and are a joy to putt on. Played for €14 and it's just brilliant value. Would golf again
Worth playing
Overall good experience, greens were good/fast considering time of year. Nice variety in holes too... will be back in the summer :)
Interesting layout
Enjoyable round, nice course with interesting holes and greens,well maintained aswell. For a decent golfer i suggest playing off the back pegs.
