Course Reasonably dry. Weather OK.
Very little delay.
Amazing parkland course
The weather was damp but made up for by the herds of deer roaming the course, tricky as it was to avoid them teeing off.
Excellent course with great views
I played this on the hottest day of the year (29 degrees). It is a great course with wide fairways and big greens. You have to be seriously off line to be in trouble and there are not too many bunkers around the greens.
The pace of the greens was consistent and medium speed (although a little slower than the practice green). The bunkers were great apart from the 14th hole which needed deeper sand.
The views are great and the feature hole 18th is lovely although it is a tricky par 3.
The staff at the clubhouse bar were very nice to my wife while she waited for me and the food and drink were very good and reasonably priced.
Overall a great experience (5 birdies in my round playing a course handicap of 11) and I would like to come back to play the Killeen course.
Cold, overcast, windy day in Killarney
Despite the 50 degree weather and biting cold wind, there were so many things to be pleased with..
Started with the pro shop staff (extremely friendly & helpful).
The fairways were wide and forgiving, the greens are in good shape, the halfway house was well stocked and also the staff there was friendly.
Plus we got to ride in a buggy for the first time in Ireland!
To top it off the restaurant staff after the round was excellent and friendly..
Simply stunning
Course is stunning, especially the last 3 holes. Staff were lovely and course was in excellent condition. Will definitely be back
