Killarney Golf & Fishing Club is home to three different championship courses that all feature the beautiful lakes of Killarney and Macgillycuddy's Reeks as a stunning backdrop. The Lackabane course is the most recent addition. All of the golf courses are flat and open and they share a heavily wooded, parkland landscape, but they all have varying degrees of difficulty. Lackabane is ideal for mid to low handicappers. There are lakes and streams that come into play on several holes. At a little over 7,000 yards from the back tees, the course will definitely test your long game. The fast and undulating greens have even been compared to those at Augusta National. The layout finishes with the most demanding hole, which is a long par-4 that plays into the prevailing wind.
