Great Views

We played this track on a rainy Monday and we were the only three golfers on the course for most of the day as the weather was not very good.
It's a great track with awesome views and it was in very good condition, however, it was a little pricey.

Awesome and pretty, but also difficult

Today I played at the golf course. It was a pretty fun place to play with stunning views. Although it was my worse round ever score wise, I am glad I have a true seaside links golf experience. Golf is a bit pricey if you don't bring your clubs (I paid 110 euros for tee time, 35 for club hire, and 5 for trolley). But, considering there are quite a few holes facing Galway Bay, it is a fair price, especially considering it is well maintained! I played my round in about 4 hours with 2-3 other people today.

Hidden Gem of a course

I had never really heard of this place prior to attending a conference here, I played 18 holes in the afternoon in a 3ball in just about 3.5hrs.

I couldn't get over the scenery of the area with so many holes right down by the sea giving it a real Pebble Beach type feel to it.

The course was not easy even off the white tees and would be a really good venue for a Championship. The greens were in decent shape and I'd like to play in the summer to see how good they could be as there was still some growth required so early in the year.

I'd definitely tell any of my friends to play the course if they are in the area and even put it on your must play courses when in Ireland.

Course in great shape for December..

We were super impressed by the condition of the course and the greens. On the day we rang Galway Golf Club in Salthill for green fees and they only had 12 holes open. Galway Bay had 18 and the 18 were as challenging as they were spectacular
