The 27 holes at Connemara Championship Golf Links are played as three different 18-hole championship links courses. The B/C Course takes advantage of both the mountainous inland terrain provided by the Twelve Bens and Maamturk mountain ranges and the rugged Atlantic shore. The B nine has the most change in elevation and more dunes than the other nines and the C course is the only one that plays along the shore. The dunes and the rough are not as intimidating as on other links courses and the player-friendly fairways are quite generous. Connemara is a good option for beginning and intermediate players but depending on the Atlantic winds, it can be a challenge for even advanced golfers.
