Perfect Course in Immaculate Condition

Played The Hermitage in April and the course was in immaculate condition - possibly the best conditioned parkland course I've ever played. Greens were true and like putting on carpets. Our group as food in the clubhouse before and after - both were great and there was a nice vibe in the clubhouse as well. A few miles from Dublin City Centre, this is a must play if you can get on!

No signage

Course is really set up for members who know where they are going . No signage in place directing you to next hole . 10th hole really confusing as to where tee box is . Walked all the way down and had to walk all the way back up to tee box . Had to ask grounds men a few times location of next tee box .

Great greens

The hermitage is always a course I look forward to playing every year. Greens are always superb and the course was in great condition. Bunkers were superb and greens really smooth. A few fairways were badly burnt in a few places otherwise course is in great condition. Very fair test of golf. Don't hesitate to play it if you get the opportunity.

Great value

Fantastic greens, some holes quite close together but understandable considering proximity to Dublin city centre, some good feature holes like the par 3 10th 150 yards to a green that must be 50 metres below the tee, quite hilly so would recommend a caddy car. We played under the hot deals special but would be willing to pay more as it was great value.
