Description
Donegal Golf Club has a secluded location on the Murvagh peninsula in Donegal Bay surrounded by a forest of evergreens on one side and the majestic Bluestack Mountains on the other. The panoramic ocean and mountain views are incomparable. The classic links design plays hard and fast across the landscape of low dunes covered with tall, golden fescue. The golf course is expansive and wide open at 7,280 yards, which also makes it one of the longest courses in Europe. Donegal Golf Club provides a good warm-up to the course with extensive practice facilities, which are boasted to be some of the best in northern Ireland. Donegal Golf Club's impressive practice area includes a par-3 course, a driving range, a putting green, and a chipping green with bunkers.
