Hong Kong Golf Club - which features three 18-hole courses at their original "Fanling" site, plus a second location at Deep Water Bay - has a rich history, dating back to 1889. The club's Eden course is not particularly long - at just over 6,000 yards, however narrow fairways bordered by large trees do challenge golfers who are not accurate off the tee. Though private, the club does offer some tee times to visitors. Hong Kong Golf Club has hosted the Hong Kong Open and the Johnny Walker Classic, utilizing a "composite course" made up of holes from the Eden and New courses.
