Visit to Les Bordes Old Course
I was lucky enough to play the Old course earlier this year, always a very exciting experience entering the estate having the prospect of playing such an epic course.
The course is a typical Von Hagge design with lots of water elevation changes and challenging green complexes, that along with the great condition of the course make for a world class golfing experience.
Food and service in the clubhouse is great along with the overall presentation of the estate. One of my favourite places to visit and hope to be back again soon.
First opportunity
Great opportunity to finally play one of Robert Von Hagge courses. It is listed that it is probably one of his best designs and I can't disagree. I had heard how difficult the course was but I think if I had focused on a good strategy, i would have played far better. If you think about how you play the course, it'll will very rewarding.
Great conditioning and playability and looking forward to play again when I get the chance.
