Course Review and Comments

Wildwood Green Golf Course needs an overhaul. It is a wonderful layout in need of care. located in a neighborhood, homes built on top of the fairways make the course appear tighter than it actually is. The target players for this course are blue collar types that want to get drunk and don't care about how they play, quality of course or pace of play. If that's your thing, then this is your place. This place feels like a municipal course in a city like Detroit that is bankrupt and hanging I to survive. I am sure in its heyday it was a great to play, but today it's a disappointment.

Course Design Rating
Course Design Comments Nice design. Hills, good holes, not too long but ample for a weekend 6 handicap that is not long off tee. If it was maintained it would be a gem. They also need to monitor pace of play.
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Rating
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments Terrible tees, greens and sand traps. Subtracted a star for each compared to other courses in area- practice facility, tee boxes on course, greens on course. Looks like this course is having financial difficulties when observing lack of care.
Course Service Rating
Course Service Comments No rangers, slow pace of play. Took too long to check in. Just doesn't have a welcoming feel.
Course Facilities Rating
Course Facilities Comments Nice clubhouse, pro shop is not stocked, practice areas are nothing special-small and worn out range and practice green.
Course Overall Rating
Play Again No
