Course Review and Comments
This is a generic review. This like many courses have given away memberships to generate cash flow. The problem is that they have given away so many memberships without fees, that those that paid for their memberships can not use the facilities because they have too many people wanting tee times. This along with daily fee play make this facility a disappointment.
The practice facilities are fair at best. The driving range is small and often on mats. When on grass the grass is all sand. It is so bad that the professional staff uses a different tee to practice and teach. I love how the staff gets better quality turf to practice on than those that create the monthly cash flow to pay their salaries. The putting green is in need of total renovation. The greens on the course are slow and bumpy. Sand traps are fair, many have stones in them. Some tee boxes are dirt.
In general don't waste your money on a free membership, you won;t be able to get onto the course and end up spending more money on daily fees elsewhere if you really want to play. On occasion you may get a tee time that works for you, but watch out for the starters that believe they should disregard tee times and move you back 40 minutes so their friends or people who yell the loudest can get out before you. This is also the home of SLOW PLAY. 5 hour rounds are the accepted norm here. It is a shame because this could be a high value, highly enjoyable golf course if it was professionally with a focus on moderate quality service.
I hope others join me and move to courses that balance memberships and outside play. I am moving to the Tradition at Falls Village. Its further away, but they guarantee me that I will be able to play at least one weekend day without making plans 2+ weeks in advance.

This course has a nice, although short, layout. Unfortunately, it takes way too long to play and the rangers do nothing to keep the pace moving. After a three hour and fifteen minute front nine where

Could be a nice course to play if condition was better. I enjoyed the lay out with the exception of a couple hole. Greens were in good condition.
