Course Review and Comments
Well I moved to north carolina in October from Ireland I was fortunate enough to have friends take me around to Play courses like tpc Wakefield a river ridge but it was becOming costly and I decided I would look for club to join with good practice facilities and reAsonable membership. I stumbled across wildwood green because it is close to my sister shop actually less than a mile so I emailed them to enquire about membership and was sent a very friendly reply shortly offering me two free rounds to get a feel for the course and to give me a better idea what I was getting myself into. Well I got their on a warm November morning and was treated like family from the very start. COwing from Ireland where the practice facilities are not the best I was extremely happy with the practice rAnge and the Putting green that ran at a very similar Pace to that of the course. The course is by no means a monster in length which suited me because a Lot of the holes are so cleverly designed eg no2 that it is a huge risk to hit driver that is not worth the reward. Playing wildwood is like playing any 7000 plus course because wildwood is very demanding of the tee as many greens cannot be attacked from certain angles and it is a very tight course with lots of contours on the greens to help protect the course and help it match up to the big monsters. I played river ridge not long before I played wildwood, I did not need to hit anything but a driver on every hole the par 3 s were fairly straight forward and the greens weren't in the condition I would've expected from a county club. For the price of a round of golf at wildwood and the membership fee's you'll havE to search hard to get the same quality as you get out of a round at this club. I am more than proud to cAll Wildwood my home course. You get the feeling of one big happy family. Thank you

This is a generic review. This like many courses have given away memberships to generate cash flow. The problem is that they have given away so many memberships without fees, that those that paid for

This course is in terrible condition. The driving range is nothing but bare dirt and sand. They have mats that are ripped and torn up.
It looks like they are preparing to close down.

Wildwood Green leaves a negative first impression and goes downhill from there. The practice range is small and mostly sand. They have mats but they are torn and lumpy and not in use. The practice put

We used to live on this golf course and were members. We moved to another golf course community because Wildwood Green was not family friendly. We have since relocated to South Carolina and were back

I don't recommend this course for anyone looking to enjoy a game of golf. Perhaps if conditions were better and they improved the practice area it would change my mind. Play was also very slow and it

This course has a nice, although short, layout. Unfortunately, it takes way too long to play and the rangers do nothing to keep the pace moving. After a three hour and fifteen minute front nine where

Good location, close to Raleigh, but condition is terrible. Watch out for rocks in sand traps and rough, some fairways are hard to identify due to weed- they don;t look cut, also greens are slow, bump

Could be a nice course to play if condition was better. I enjoyed the lay out with the exception of a couple hole. Greens were in good condition.
