Course Review and Comments

It's a great course for the money. The membership prices are great. It's a tough course with some narrow fairways and well protected greens. It eats balls by the dozen. One hole in particular, (I think it's 6), has a nasty trough that feeds steeply into the trees every time, unless you bomb it long or hit way left. I think a burm here to catch the balls and leave a blind shot through the trees to the green would be so much better. I've seen too many great drives on the left side of the fairway feed all the way across to the woods with two skips. By the way, it's now called Creekside, not Westchester.

Price comments I'm a member, but I beleive weekend rates are about $55, all inclusive.
Course Design Rating
Course Design Comments The review on there website creeksidegolf.com says it all better than I could. The holes coming in are better than those going out. Take some extra balls, the fairways can get tight.
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Rating
Course Greens/Fairways Condition Comments I gie it a four because the staff has done a magnificent job with maintenance, especially considering the major drought we're in.
Course Service Rating
Course Service Comments I would really say 4.5 stars because I can't always get an answer when I call for tee times, but I understand. The staff is really superb and friendly.
Course Facilities Rating
Course Facilities Comments The only dissapointment I have is the practice areas. The range is adequate, the putting green is excellent, but there is nowhere to practice your short game except the course. The pro shop prices are great, the beer is cold, and the grub is good.
