Course Review and Comments
This course offered a respectable challenge. With long narrow fairways and smaller sized quick greens. It offered a good mix of long par 4s which you would be satisfied to walk away from with a handy par, as well as shorter but considerably doglegged ones which needed strategic placement from the tee in order to set up an attacking second shot. The long par 5s required monster hits to reach in 2, but being a long hitter myself I found them an excitable challenge. There were thick roughs well defined by a uniformed lining of trees, as well as manageable water hazards at the 4th and 17th. The fairways were well maintained and the green were lush. The food and bar service was also satisfactory, well enveloped in a very welcoming atmosphere. Not to mention the golf club is only a 5 to ten minute drive from the city center. I had a pleasant experience at Warren Hills and I would visit it again without a shadow of doubt. I implore all golfing connoisseurs to give it a go.
